15 Sept: University Community Team introduction to getting involved in your local community

Undergraduate and postgraduate students in all years and disciplines can find out how to get involved with the communities where they live during their studies.

The University’s central Community Team and friends will provide an introduction to activities including volunteering, key local events and working with local communities as part of your degree.

The Team will also provide basic guidance on key local issues, demographics, geography and good practice.

There will be time for questions from attendees following short presentations from speakers. You may wish to bring something on which you can take notes to the event.

If there are any adjustments we can make which would allow you to get the most from this event, please email local@ed.ac.uk to arrange.

Booking required.
