Consultant Transplant Surgeon

Current 

Mr Ben Stutchfield was appointed as a consultant surgeon at the Edinburgh Transplant Centre in 2019 having completed academic and surgical training in General Surgery and Transplantation in Scotland. His PhD thesis explored the role of cell therapies in enhancing liver regeneration. Clinical duties include contribution to liver transplantation, multiorgan retrieval / normothermic regional perfusion,  and general surgery with an interest in abdominal wall reconstruction.
