Consultant Transplant Surgeon

Current 

Ben Stutchfield was appointed as a consultant surgeon at the Edinburgh Transplant Centre in 2019 after completing training in Scotland. His PhD completed at the Centre for Regenerative Medicine in Edinburgh explored the use of cell therapies to enhance liver regeneration.  Clinical duties include contribution to the liver transplantation, multiorgan retrieval / normothermic regional perfusion service, and general surgery programmes.
