We offer a full range of hepatobiliary, pancreatic, endoscopic, radiological and surgical interventions. The Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic (HPB) Unit has provided a tertiary referral service for the management of complex HPB disease since 1988. Location This service runs from a single site based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Sixty beds are located in the General Surgical Unit based in Wards 106/107. There are also beds in the Surgical Day Case Unit, High Dependency Unit and Intensive Therapy Unit. Outpatients are seen in Outpatient Department Four (OPD4).
