Get a feel for studying with us at our Open Days, information sessions, tours and offer holder days.
Our undergraduate Open Days are a great opportunity to come and see the University for yourself.
You can find out about student life in Edinburgh from the people who know it best: our staff and students.
You can also explore the campus, learn more about what you can study and ask questions about admissions, accommodation and job prospects.
Everyone is welcome at our Open Days - prospective students, their families, teachers and careers advisers.
Our next undergraduate Open Day will be in June 2019.
For more information and booking details visit our Open Days pages. We recommend that you do not book travel until booking opens and your place at the Open Day has been confirmed.
If you are from the UK or EU you can visit us during the school holidays or join an online session to find out more about studying with us.
If you are an international student you can attend one of the information sessions we hold on our central campus every Monday and Friday.
Our student-led campus tours are ideal for students and their families who are unable to attend an Open Day. Our Student Ambassadors will guide you around the Central Area of the campus and answer general queries.
Follow our self-guided walking tours for a flavour of the University, the city and student life.
Offer holder days
In most subjects, if you receive an offer of admission from us, you will usually be invited to attend an offer holder day. These days typically take place between February and April.
You will have the opportunity to meet with academic staff from your chosen subject area, tour the facilities and attend general information sessions.
Throughout the year, we attend a number of events across the UK so we can speak with you where you are.
Our staff regularly travel to support potential international students and partners abroad. Find out when we'll be in your country next.
