"I was drawn to Edinburgh because I heard the University was very highly regarded for Law and on the open day, after getting loads of information, I just decided it would be the programme that really was for me."

My student experience

"I really liked living in University accommodation in first year because it was where I met my best friends. It's a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world and create bonds that last your whole life."

Around 100,000 students call Edinburgh home, giving the city a unique buzz and ensuring you’ll be in good company. Discover more about student life at Edinburgh.

My programme

"What’s most challenging about law certainly is the fact you have so many exams to study for in a short amount of time. It really challenges you to plan ahead and make sure you know what you're doing well in advance.

"What I like most [about Edinburgh] is the stunning buildings, they really make the place feel so spectacular and especially Old College is my favourite. It builds a real character for our uni with a great deal of mixture between old and new.

"I also really appreciate the fact the library is open round the clock as sometimes it has to come to that. Law is such a great flexible subject because you really can use a law degree for loads of careers."

My future

"Myself, I am thinking of branching into finance but I have so many other options like being a solicitor, an advocate, part of the police, or even something business-related. It is very adaptable to a huge variety of careers."
