Luming Yang talks about her experience of studying at Edinburgh and why she chose to study agricultural science with us.
"I want to tackle current world issues regarding agriculture, society and environment, and the programme is heavily related to these two aspects.
The staff here are very friendly and willing to answer any questions I emailed them asking if I was eligible for the programme."
Edinburgh is a beautiful city with friendly people. This is only my first semester in the Uni, but every professor that I have met is extremely helpful to my study.
My student experience
"I live in student accommodation and have met a diverse range of friends from different continents - it brings uniqueness into my life.
My favourite place at the University is the Easter Bush Campus and Library, where the Vet School is based. The natural scenery around the Easter Bush Campus is beautiful.
My advice to new students
"To prepare for university I got to know the programme, potential job opportunities, and read some well-known publications.
I also joined a social media group to learn about events happening at the University.
Going to university will be the most non-regrettable decision you've made in your life, so forget about your concerns, just come here and enjoy everything the University and city offers you."
