Test yourself by using the information and questions below to decide which level of Norwegian is right for you.
If you feel that you can talk reasonably well about most of the following topics, you are at a suitable level to enrol for Norwegian Beginners 2.
Can you
- introduce yourself to someone and give some basic information about yourself, your family, your job, your hobbies?
- ask someone for the same kind of information (their job, home town)?
- give the time and ask what time it is?
- talk about your family?
- talk about food, what you like and dislike, ask for something to eat or drink, and offer someone something to eat or drink?
Would you be able to communicate with a Norwegian speaker who asked you these questions?

- talk about how you get to work or your leisure time activities?

- ask for help and answer questions in a clothes shop?
- invite someone to take part in something?
- understand and write simple emails, post cards and text messages?
