Teacher Education Open Day Programme

Friday 15 November, 14:00 - 17:30, Main Games Hall, St Leonards Land, Holyrood Road

Looking to become a teacher? Come along to our dedicated Teacher Education Open Day on Friday 15 November to hear more about PGDE Primary, PGDE Secondary or our MSc in Transformative Learning & Teaching.

The afternoon's programme will comprise:

  • Information on the programmes on offer and how to apply; and
  • The opportunity to talk to staff, current students and alumni.

If possible, please have your ticket on a smartphone or tablet on the day to show to us when you arrive. You're welcome to bring a paper copy if this is easier, but we'd like to save on paper! If you forget your ticket, don't worry, we can find your booking on the day.

It is simply an overview of the programme for anyone whose first interest is the PGDE programme but want to know more about the Transformative Learning & Teaching programme.

You can meet with admissions staff and current students during the Student Services Fair

Students Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) Funding Talk for Scottish and EU students

A brief overview of funding options provided by SAAS for Scottish and EU students. This 15 minute talk will be followed by a chance for you to ask questions.
