Introduction to Online Learning

NEXT EVENT: 26 June 2024. These two sessions provide a general introduction for anyone starting to think about online postgraduate study and considering the University of Edinburgh.

Who is this event for?

If you're thinking about postgraduate online study as a possible choice, this two-session event is a fantastic way to find out more about what studying online with the University of Edinburgh is like. The sessions are aimed at those interested in studying fully online

What does it include?

The event comprises two online sessions. You can register for one or both sessions. 

 

Time Session Title Session Description
11:00am-12:00 noon (BST) An introduction to online learning

This introductory session will introduce you to what studying online is, how it works, what the virtual learning environment looks like and what you need to consider before applying.

15:00-16:00 (BST) Why choose the University of Edinburgh? In conversation with Melissa Highton, Assistant Principal for Online Learning
