The University is committed to becoming more environmentally sustainable and socially responsible. We have won many awards for our progress in becoming carbon neutral by 2040 and zero waste by 2030.
On our campuses, you'll find:
- lots of places to park your bike
- tasty vegetarian & vegan food
- recycling bins and water refill stations
- ethical and fairtrade products in our shops and Visitor Centre
We have a team dedicated to improving sustainability and climate action on campus. They offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities for you to build your sustainability skillset, meet like-minded people, and make positive change together through student societies and group opportunities like the Sustainability Champion network.
