There is no direct transfer of your medical records between general practices. You will need to register with a practice in Edinburgh, and they will arrange to transfer your records from your previous GP.
It is important to note that this can take some considerable time at present so if you do have an ongoing health condition please bring a summary of your condition with you and provide this to your new GP.

The Chaplaincy is a safe and welcoming space for people of all faiths and none. This is a space where you can drop in and have a cup of tea, attend discussion events or other gatherings, or try out meditation, mindfulness and other activities.

There are also a number of apps and services available through the University, where you can listen to guided meditations, or watch short videos that may help to support your mental wellbeing.

Togetherall is an online support network, available 24/7, guided by trained professionals. It is free to students of the University.

SilverCloud is a suite of online CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) programmes that are flexible, effective and easy to use.
