Schedule of presentations that take place during the Academic Fair in 2017.

Each talk lasts up to 20 minutes and the presenters usually leave time at the end for questions.

These presentations will all be repeated twice, once between 12:00-2:00pm for Group A attendees and again between 2:30-4:30pm for Group B attendees.  Has my School been allocated to Group A or Group B?

The presentations all take place in 50 George Square, Room G.03

This short presentation will introduce you to Path, a visual course selection and programme builder tool. It supports students to consider their degree pathway, review outside course choices, understand co-requisites and pre-requisites and generate a timetable.

13:00 Choosing outside course options – advice from the Careers Service Advice from Careers Service staff on choosing subject options. Advice on alternatives if first choice not possible. Advice on opportunities and different ways to develop experience at university, including finding part-time work
