How to run Progression & Awards Reports

The Progression & Awards Board Reports are run in BI Suite and can be exported and edited in preparation for the boards.

You can launch BI Suite from your MyEd account (for guidance on accessing BI, please see BI Suite Tools).

You'll need access to the "Assessment and Progression Tools" folder in BI.

If you don't have access you need to request it from Student Systems. Complete the staff account form (Apply for an account) and under "Show Role Options", select the progression folder under the BI section. If this folder doesn't appear, leave a comment asking for access to Progression and Awards Reports (file path: Public Folders > SASG: Student Systems > Officially Dev & Maintained > Student > Assessment and Progression Tools > Progression and Awards Reports).

Process summary

  1. Open the Progression & Awards Reports folder
    • This can be found through the Documents tab and then Folders > Public Folders > SASG: Student Systems > Officially Dev & Maintained > Student > Assessment and Progression Tools > Progression and Awards Reports
    • You should use the reports under the Officially Dev & Maintained folder as these reports are continually improved by Student Systems
  2. Select the report you want to run
  3. Complete the details on the prompt screen (e.g. programme code, year etc.)
  4. View the report tabs
  5. Use the input controls to further filter the report
  6. Export the report to your chosen format

When you've finished with the report, close it without saving.
