Error Parsing Student

This error can occur for many different reasons and you will need to email Student Systems to resolve it.

"Error parsing student" will show when you search for a programme but you won't be able to access any of the progression records.

The error messsage may include some information on what the problem is, however it often refers to data or codes in the underlying student record system so it may not make much sense.

How to resolve

Please log a UniDesk call with Student Systems by emailing studentsystems@ed.ac.uk. Please include the programme name or code, academic year and programme year that you're trying to access.
