Disregarding components in resit

The disregard components function is not supported in resit.

If you need to disregard something in resit you'll need to calculate the new assessment mark or final course result outside the system and enter this into the resit record.

Disregarding an item or component

If you need to disregard an item or component of an assessment this would be considered a "different" resit scenario.

Follow the guidance under Different resits. This includes calculating an assessment mark outside of APT and entering this into the student's resit record. 

Disregarding an assessment

If you need to disregard a whole assessment from resit this would be considered an unsupported resit scenario.

Follow the guidance under Unsupported resits. You'll need to calculate the resit course result outside the system.
