View our guidance on retrieving a Degree Programme Table (DPT) within EUCLID, to view or amend DPTs, including a quick programme search, and a broader school, or programme level search.
Amend DPT
You can retrieve Degree Programme Table (DPT) structures by clicking on the 'Amend DPT' link within the 'DPTs and Courses' EUCLID page.
This will display the 'Amend DPT: Search for Programme' screen.
Search for Programme
You can search for DPTs using the following tools:
- Quick search (search for your DPT by keying in your programme title or code)
- Full search (search for your DPT by school, programme level or programme name)
Quick search
You can key in the name or code for your DPT within the 'Programme' field.
This dynamic field will allow you to key in any part of the programme name to identify a list of those titles that include your text.
You can use the on screen help text to key in the programme code if you prefer to use the coding convention to define your results, however, if you do not know the title of the programme you are searching for, it's probably more worthwhile using the 'Full search' facility.
Full search
If you wish to perform a broader search for DPTs you can use the 'Full search' fields.
Searching by 'School' or 'Programme level' will allow you to identify programme DPTs across you area.
The results will be displayed in a list, providing a linked 'Programme name' and 'Programme code' to click on and view the DPT structure.
When you search using the 'Programme name' field, you can use Wildcards to help identify the programme you want to view.
The most common Wildcard is the '*' (Asterix), which mean 'Any character'.
Remember to use capitalisation in this field to return best results.
When you have keyed or selected your search criteria click on the 'Search' button to find your results.
