Careers events

Career exploration events designed for Access to the Professions and expanded to other professions.

The careers insight events originally designed for our Access to the Professions project (for Medicine, Law and Veterinary Medicine) have taken off across the University and the extra events are run on an annual basis, open to local state school (S5 and S6) pupils and college students.

Each event includes practical interactive activities, talks specifically about applying to these subjects and opportunities to meet current students and practitioners in the subject / career areas. They are completely free to attend.

So you want to be a Biomedical Scientist? Thursday 17th October (PM)

So you want to be an Engineer?

Note that we are also running "So You Want to be a Vet?" and "So You Want to be a Lawyer?", but these are open only to pupils registered for our Access to the Professions (with Reach: Scotland) project.
