Science Insights

Science Insights is an exciting work experience programme from The MRC Institute of Genetics and Molecular Medicine (IGMM) and The Roslin Institute and Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh.

CPD for Teachers

These sessions are for teachers from local state secondary schools who give advice and guidance to pupils applying to university through UCAS. They are completely FREE to attend and as many staff from your school as you want can come along.

Career exploration events designed for Pathways to the Professions and expanded to other professions.

Primary and early secondary years initiative

Our work with primary and early secondary children from Wester Hailes Education Centre, Liberton High School and Leith Academy

College links

We work with local College partners in order to support students wishing to progress to degree level study via Higher National (HN) or access course studies.

Moving On

The course is designed as a week long bridging course linking pre-university study with undergraduate work.

Beath & Newbattle University Experience Week

A week-long residential experience for students from Beath and Newbattle High Schools.

Lecture events

Where possible, Student Recruitment and Admissions offers free tickets to local school students for the University's public lectures.
