Lynn Hryhorskyj - Doctor

A case study from Lynn Hryhorskyj, a practicing doctor, who took part in the Access to the Professions and Peer Mentoring programmes.

Lynn went to Musselburgh Grammar School, taking part in Lothians Equal Access Programme for Schools (LEAPS) and Access to the Professions for Medicine. She graduate with a degree in Medicine from the University of Edinburghn 2011. She also took part in our undergraduate mentoring programme.

As the first person in my family to attend university, LEAPS and Access to the Professions gave me an invaluable insight into applying to university. The opportunities they provided allowed me experience the university setting and to talk to current medical students who had gone through Access to the Professions themselves.
