British Heart Foundation PhD in the Cellular and Molecular Basis of Cardiovascular Disease
Four studentships will be awarded to outstanding science graduates wishing to pursue a 4-year PhD in cardiovascular research.
Our main research themes are:
- Metabolism Obesity & Diabetes (MOD)
- Hypertension & Renal (HART)
- Cardio-metabolic Imaging (CINEMA)
- Coronary and Valvular Heart Disease (CVHD)
In addition we have a strong cross-cutting theme of Big Data Science and Translational Research in cardiometabolic disease.
Award
Studentships cover tuition fees (for EEA and international students), additional programme costs and £19,919 per year maintenance allowance.
Deadline: 31st March 2021 with interviews taking place in late April 2021.
