MSc Leading Major Programmes Merit Scholarship

Three scholarships are available to prospective students commencing the MSc in Leading Major programme in 2021-2022.

The University of Edinburgh is an Education Partner with the Women’s Engineering Society (WES).  As a demonstration of our commitment to support and inspire women to achieve as engineers and leaders, at least one third of those scholarships will be awarded to a female candidate.

Award

Scholarship are worth £6,000 and is tenable for two academic years (£3,000 per academic year).  The scholarship will be deducted from tuition fees.  Please note that it is not possible to combine this award with the HCI scholarships

Eligibility    

This scholarship is available to applicants of UK and Overseas nationality.  Applicants must have been accepted for admissions to the MSc in Leading Major Programmes for entry in 2021-2022.

Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, the applicant's future and personal career goals, and the extent to which the scholarship will support the candidate to meet these goals. Candidates must have the international equivalent of a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level.

Applying

Applications for the 2021-2022 academic session are no longer being accepted for this scholarship as the 31st of July deadline has now passed. 

 Notification

All applicants will be notified of the outcome by the end of August 2021.
