Head of School Scholarships (GeoSciences)

The School of GeoSciences is delighted to offer two scholarships for the 2019-2020 academic session.

Two scholarships worth £5,000 towards tuition fees are available to applicants of any nationality.

Applications from students studying a full-time taught Masters degree in one of the following eligible subject areas are considered:

  • MSc Environment and Development
  • MSc Environmental Sustainability

Applicants who have already commenced their programme of study on the closing date are not eligible for this scholarship.

Applicants intending to study part-time or online distance learning courses are not eligible for this scholarship.

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, the international equivalent of a UK 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level.

Applications for this scholarship are no longer being accepted for 2019-2020 as the 1st July deadline has now passed.

A Selection Committee will meet to select the recipients and all candidates will be notified of the outcome, with results expected in August.
