There are a number of funding sources available to students at the School.

Cameron Scholarship in Comparative and European Private Law LLM

One scholarship is available for students studying full-time for the LLM in Comparative and European Private Law for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Edinburgh Law School & Cameron PhD Studentships

Edinburgh Law School offers a number of full PhD studentships, one of which is provided through a generous bequest from alumnus Ewen Cameron in his name.

Edinburgh Law School LLM in European Law Scholarship

Edinburgh Law School wants to assure all students and staff of its commitment to EU Law teaching and to all of our staff, students, and visitors from the EU. We are a European Law School and remain devoted in our support of all who wish to study with us. As such we are delighted to be able to offer a scholarship for applicants to the LLM in European Law for 2024-25.

Edinburgh Law School Kenya Award

The Law School is delighted to offer one award for nationals from Kenya applying to any on-campus taught LLM or MSc programme at Edinburgh Law School starting in the 2024-25 academic year.

Edinburgh Legal Education Trust Scholarships for PhD

Two scholarships are available for postgraduate research in Scots private law at the University of Edinburgh for the 2021-2022 academic year.

The School offers many scholarship opportunities at the Masters, PhD and mid-career level.

Tercentenary Award for Excellence

This award is open to all applicants who have applied to a taught LLM or MSc programme starting in the 2024-25 academic year at Edinburgh Law School.

GREAT Scholarships for Justice and Law 2022

Under the University of Edinburgh, one scholarship to the value of £10,000 will be available for nationals from Kenya applying to any eligible MSC or LLM Programme of study within the School of Law in the 2022-2023 academic year.
