The Shailendra Kasera Scholarship
One scholarship will be awarded to an applicant accepted on to an eligible on-campus one year masters programme in any subject offered by the Business School for the 2018-2019 academic session.
This scholarship has been funded by Mr Utsava Kasera, an alumnus of the Edinburgh University as a tribute to his father Mr Shailendra Kasera.
Utsava studied MSc in International Business and Emerging markets in the Business School (2007-08) and is involved in several entrepreneurial ventures and start ups. In his own words “I dedicate a significant measure of my success to the University of Edinburgh education I received, along with efforts and sacrifice of my father Mr Shailendra Kasera in bringing me up in the best possible way.
The scholarship will have the value of £15,000 and is tenable for one academic year.
The scholarship will be awarded to a student who has been accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate one year taught Masters programme offered by the Business School.
Applicants must be domiciled outwith the UK and EU at the time of application and be liable for the overseas rate of tuition fee.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.

The scholarship deadline is 31st May 2018.
In order to gain access to the scholarship application system applicants must have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh. Please note that, following the submission of an application for admission, it can take up to five working days for all system checks to be completed and for access to be granted.
The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd our web based information portal at https://www.myed.ed.ac.uk
