Dean's Excellence Scholarship Programme
The University of Edinburgh Business School is offering scholarships covering part of the fees for Masters students commencing study for the 2022-2023 academic session. The Dean's Excellence Scholarship Programme is based on merit and available to all applicants of Business School taught Masters.
Award
The Business School are offering up to 30 scholarships between £5,000 and £10,000 covering part of the tuition fees for Masters students. These awards will be tenable for one academic year and will be automatically deducted from your tuition fee.
Eligibility
The scholarships are available to all offer holders for the following UEBS Masters programmes:
MSc Climate Change Finance & Investment
MSc Entrepreneurship & Innovation
MSc Finance, Technology and Policy
MSc Global Strategy & Sustainability
MSc International Human Resource Management
MSc Marketing & Business Analysis
Applicants must have received an offer (conditional or unconditional) to join one of the eligible programmes and have either firmly accepted the offer or be intending to do so by the closing date of the round they are applying in.
Applicants who are fully sponsored by thier employer, in receipt of a full scholarship or have already accepted another scholarship from the University of Edinburgh Business School are ineligible for this scholarship.
Criteria
Candidates must demonstrate strong academic performance and be on track to obtain or have graduated with a minimum of a high 2.1 or 1st class UK undergraduate degree or overseas equivalent from a university with a strong academic reputation and ranking. They should also have the potential to contribute and enrich all aspects of the Masters programme and the diverse academic and cultural profile of the Masters class and show excellent professional and personal skills evidenced through work experience and/or extracurricular activities.
Applying
You should submit an application through the University Scholarship Application system following receipt of an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on a Masters programme and within the following scholarship application rounds:
Round A is now closed for applications as the 28th February 2022 deadline has passed. Decisions will be confirmed by the 28th of March 2022.
Round B is now closed for applications as the 18th April 2022 deadline has passed. Decisions will be confirmed by the 16th of May 2022.
Round C is now closed for applications as the 6th June 2022 deadline has passed. Decisions will be confirmed by the 4th of July 2022.
Round D is now closed for applications as the 25th July 2022 deadline has passed. Decisions will be confirmed by the 22nd of August 2022.
Notification
The Business School Admissions Team will notify successful candidates by the decision deadline dates.
