Edinburgh Surgery Online: Patient Safety and Clinical Human Factors

There are a number of scholarships available which includes full tuition fees with contribution towards cost of internet access.

Award

Each scholarship will cover full tuition fees. Applicants must be resident in Africa, South Asia, Caribbean Islands, Pacific Islands or Central and South America.

There are also a number of bursaries, each worth £1500 annually, available to all applicants for the MSc in Patient Safety and Clinical Human Factors.

Eligibility

The scholarships will be awarded to applicants who are accepted for admission on to the MSc in Patient Safety and Clinical Human Factors. The applicants will be asked to write a short 100 word statement on how the programme benefits their career.   

Please note that to be eligible for the fully-funded scholarship:

  • Applicants must be a national and resident in eligible country (Africa, South Asia, Caribbean Islands, Pacific Islands or Central and South America).
  • Applicants must have at least a conditional offer for Masters. 
  • Applicants must provide a letter of support and this will be emailed to the eso.scholarship inbox.

You must have made an application for the Masters programme and have been issued at least a conditional offer to be considered.

Notification

All applicants will be notified of the result of their application by the end of August 2024.
