The award is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students in any UK University who are undertaking study that has significant information handling or information management content. It is not sufficient simply to be using information resources during their work! UKeIG is likely to favour students on courses that cover electronic information sources.
The award is worth £2,500 and is paid in three parts coincident with the three terms.
Applications should be submitted by Scholarships and Student Funding Services at the University of Edinburgh, and must be accompanied by a reference from the academic department of the student concerned. The deadline is normally early October.
Further information is available from the UK eInformation Group.
