The NatWest Group Bursary

NatWest Group are offering five bursary awards to University of Edinburgh eligible students for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Award

Each award of £1,000 will be enhanced with opportunities to take part in a range of personal and professional development workshops run by the Group throughout the 2021-2022 academic year. These workshops will help recipients build important professional skills and networks both within the NatWest Group and with peers across a number of Scottish and UK universities.

Eligibility

The awards will be available to 2nd year students in receipt of financial support via the Access Edinburgh Scholarship Programme and will be tenable for one academic year.

The University of Edinburgh and NatWest Group share a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion and as such particularly welcome applications from eligible students identifying as belonging to an ethnic minority group.

Applying

Please note that all material will be reviewed and assessed digitally and as part of the shortlisting process a representative from NatWest Group will be reviewing submitted documents. Your submitted document will only be held by the University for one calendar year.

To apply for a NatWest Group Bursary, we ask students to answer the following questions (250 word limit per question):

  1. What excites you about this opportunity and what do you hope to gain from it?
  2. How do you plan to use the money from the award?
  3. What impact do you think you could make within your peer group as an Ambassador for the NatWest bursaries?
