Needs Assessment: Next Steps

What to do once you have attended your Needs Assessment.

Now that you have attended your Needs Assessment appointment, as part of the process we ask you to do the following:

  1. The Advisor/Needs Assessor will complete the report and email the draft to you within 10 working days. You will be asked to email your comments on any alterations you feel are required, and then approve the report.

  2. Once you have approved the contents of the report by email, the Advisor/Needs Assessor will submit the final copy to your funding body.

  3. Your funding body will write to you with their decision. This letter will indicate how to obtain your equipment.

  4. Please note that any recommended support such as IT training, study skills tuition, proofreader or other support will not be arranged automatically. You must make contact with the Student Disability Service in order for this support to be put in place.
