Information for applicants
If you are applying to study at the University of Edinburgh and you have a disability, learning difference or health condition that may impact on your studies, please make contact with the Student Disability Service, to discuss your support needs.
Evidence
We want to provide you with the support that you require. In order to do this, we need you to provide acceptable evidence of your disability or specific learning difference.
Disabled Student Funding
The Student Disability Service can help you to apply for non-means assessed allowances intended to cover the extra costs or expenses that you may incur while studying and which are a direct result of your disability.
Who we support
We support undergraduate and postgraduate students, visiting students, full-time and part-time students, online distance learners and students studying at the Centre for Open Learning with a range of health conditions, learning differences, disabilities and some temporary injuries.
