The Student Disability Service has produced a leaflet which explains the mental health mentor support that is available to students who have long term mental ill-health.
Mental health code of practice (currently under review)
This Code of Practice sets out guidance for helping, supporting, or referring students who may have mental health difficulties or illness at the University of Edinburgh.
Online training resource for supporting students with mental health problems
This e-learning portal has been created by the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust, to increase awareness of the signs and the dangers of depression amongst students.
Mental health experiences - videos
As a part of the University’s commitment to equality and diversity on 19th January 2012 the University became a signatory to the 'see me' pledge. To support the pledge to the campaign the University created an action plan outlining resources to improve throughout the organisation by raising awareness of mental health issues.
