Student Disability Service

Welcome to the University of Edinburgh!

If you have a disability, learning difficulty or health condition that could affect your studies please get in touch with us to discuss your support requirements.

You can call, email or visit us to make an appointment with a member of the Advisory staff, or use our online appointment request form: http://www.ed.ac.uk/student-disability-service/new-students/making-an-appointment

We are open Monday – Friday, 9am – 4.45pm and for the first six weeks of the semester (until mid-October) we are open until 7pm on Tuesdays.  We are also able to arrange appointments via Skype, email or phone if you are unable to come into the Service to meet with an Advisor.

It would be extremely helpful if you provide us with any documents relating to your disability, health condition or learning difficulty, such as an Educational or Clinical Psychologist’s report or letter from your GP or other relevant medical professional.  You can find further information about acceptable evidence here: http://www.ed.ac.uk/student-disability-service/new-students/evidence

With best wishes for a successful year.
