Disability and Learning Support Service

Transition Event for New Students with Autism Spectrum Condition

The Disability & Learning Support Service will host an online transition event in August 2024 for prospective students with an Autism Spectrum Condition.

If you are intending to study at the University and you have a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Condition, we are offering an online transition event to prospective students this summer. The event will also be open to parents/carers of new students and will be held online:

Tuesday, 20 August 2024

We understand that the transition to University can be difficult, so our AS Transition Event hopes to address any questions or concerns that you may have.

  • Talks from a variety of staff, students and representatives from within the University
  • ‘Ask Me Anything’ sessions with AS staff and students
  • Gaining study skill tips
  • Hear from students about their experience and the impacts of an AS diagnosis
  • Joining Societies, meeting other new students and making friends
