Author bio: Jonny Ross-Tatam

Jonny Ross-Tatam is the current President of Edinburgh University Students’ Association (EUSA) for 2015/16.

He is History (MA) undergraduate, taking a full-time Sabbatical year in between his 3rd and 4th years.

Jonny has spent a lot of his time thinking about university education, especially how to make it more personalised and fit for the world we live in. In his 2nd and 3rd years he was the founder and President of the Buchanan Institute, Scotland’s first student-led think tank and led events and policy proposals on ‘rethinking education’.

He was also a student speaker in the TEDx University of Edinburgh 2015 Conference and has achieved an Edinburgh Award in Social Innovation for his work outside his degree.
