In the interview in Mark discusses his typical working day - athough actually no two days are the same - and the process of setting up the Student Experience Project (SEP).
He talks about the progress which has already been made in a number of areas, such as student inductions and peer support, the creation of new Student Information Points and On the Same Page campaign, and the pilot of the Big White Wall self-help resource for students.
Daily staples? Coffee, soup, cake and the occasional cheery blether!
He also reveals a few of the things that help him through the day - he can't be without a list - and a few of his favourite ways to switch off.
