Big White Wall is highly commended
The Big White Wall was Highly Commended at the Scottish Government GO Awards in the Best Service category on 21 October.
The Student Counselling Service worked closely with the Big White Wall, and with colleagues in EUSA, the Student Disability Service, Accommodation and the Student Experience Project to encourage students to access the service. Over 300 students have benefited so far, and the University is funding 300 additional places for students this year.
We are delighted to have received this award. Given the high demand for our services, The Big White Wall is an excellent way for our students to get the support they need at any time of the day or night. The award is also testament to some great partnership working across departments, which the Student Experience Project has been the catalyst for.
