Students engaged with a wide range of community partners across Edinburgh, Scotland and internationally.
What is Student Community Engagement?
Student Community Engagement is the term we use at the University of Edinburgh to describe a wide range of activities which bring our students together with the local community.
What did we do?
The student community engagement strand of the Student Experience Project was set up in 2014 and considered the benefits of different community engagement models across the University. This part of the Project closed in November 2015.
Who else is involved?
A number of departments from across the University remain involved in delivering student community engagement:
Community Engagement Reference Group
The Community Engagement Reference Group (CERG) was set up in 2014 to provide governance and support for the Student Community Engagement project.
