On Thursday 9 March, University Mental Health Day, we’re inviting students, staff and the wider community to join us and take part in our “Challenge 23” campaign.
Unite with us to support young adult and student mental health.
Challenge yourself
- Come along to University Sport & Exercise's March on in March Gym Open days at the Pleasance and Easter Bush Gym.
- In lieu of our standard one-off entry fee you'll be able to make a voluntary donation to support the work of the British Inspirational Trust and SAMH through a fundraising page. Throughout the day, at 23 minutes past the hour, our team will be challenging visitors to complete 23 reps of an exercise.
- Free entry for students and staff on Thursday 9 March
- Take part in one of our Organised Walking for Challenge 23 events
- Join our Active Lives team and walk 23 minutes at 11:23 or 12:23 on Thursday 9 March
- Book your place on MyEd by searching for Walking for Challenge 23
- Be active for an extra 23 minutes.
- Walk extra 23 minutes on your morning or evening commute.
- Be active with 23 friends.
- Or anything else you can think of - the possibilities are endless.
