EUWHC Return from EuroHockey

Edinburgh University Women's Hockey Club (EUWHC) have taken on the cream of European talent at the Eurohockey Club Trophy event in Rochester.

Despite a relegation, the team proved themselves admirably against some of Europe’s toughest competition.

The team began the tournament with a 3-3 draw against Russia’s MoscomSport, followed by a 5-1 loss against Ireland’s UCD and a 4-0 defeat against home-team Holcombe. A play-off resulted in another loss at the hands of Ukraine’s Sumchanka side.

Next year the team will compete in the same league as fellow Scots Clydesdale, setting up an exciting event.
