EUBC retain the Scottish Boat Race Title

The University of Edinburgh Boat Club completed a clean sweep of victories on Saturday 25th May claiming their 7th successive Scottish Boat Race title.

Despite the weather, the event, which took place along a 2km stretch of the Clyde, saw hundreds of supporters from both Glasgow and Edinburgh, line bridges along the river to cheer on their respective crews. 

In one of the closest races of the day, the graduate 500m sprint, the Edinburgh crew narrowly secured victory at the finish line at the Glasgow Science Tower.

In the 2^nd & Novice races, the Edinburgh crews led from the front and claimed decisive victories over the Glasgow crews.

The 1^st VIII racing saw a similar outcome with the Edinburgh crews leading from the start and powering through to claim victory.

In the final race of the day, a thrilling mixed Ergometer challenge, Edinburgh eventually came out on top to complete a clean sweep of victories.
