Get hands-on and learn about SLICCs
One of the best ways to learn about SLICCs as a staff member is to get hands-on experience as a SLICC tutor.
Whether you are interested in the SLICCs learning framework, in setting up your own SLICC in your disciplinary field or as a cross-disciplinary experience, or perhaps in helping students get the most out of their summers, consider becoming a SLICC tutor over the summer months.
It isn't too time consuming, you should find it a really worthwhile experience, and it can provide great insights into, for instance, experiential and reflective learning and assessment, online learning, and using an e-portfolio.
