The information you provided in support of your application did not meet the standard we require

Your application or the documents you submitted were of poor quality

Our decisions are based on the information you have provided on your application, plus any supplementary information you have submitted. Your application was unsuccessful as this information or your supporting documents did not meet the standard we require, due to at least one of the following:

• You provided an unofficial or poor quality transcript.
• Your application/personal statement did not show an understanding of the MSc programme that you have applied to. Applicants need to demonstrate that they understand the programme in detail in order to be best prepared for study in this area.
• You did not submit a satisfactory personal statement. Reasons for this include, but are not limited to: providing a statement which was below 500 words, not demonstrating an ability to succeed on the programme and/or motivation to study, not mentioning the programme applied for and/or providing a statement focused on a different subject area.
• Your reference was unsatisfactory.
• Your academic qualifications were not completed at, or awarded by, a recognised institution.
