Our University is a central player in the Edinburgh and City Region Deal and is now beginning its Data-Driven Innovation Programme, of which Space and Satellites is one of ten key sectors.

Edinburgh is in a unique position to help the UK government capture up to 10% of the £400 billion global space market by 2030. We have created a new Space and Satellites innovation programme office in the Bayes Centre and are leveraging £100 million of computing infrastructure to develop new exciting research and innovation programmes.

My talk addresses work completed so far, and how to translate academic work into increased global impact. Find out how we are working to make Edinburgh the Space Data Capital of Europe!
