Sustainable Travel Event: Tuesday 1st November

A Workplace Travel Planning Roadshow will be held on Tuesday 1st November in the Sanderson Building.

The University’s Transport Office has arranged a Workplace Travel Planning Roadshow in Classroom 3 of the Sanderson Building on Tuesday 1st November, from 11.30am-1pm.  All staff are invited to come along for:

  • A personalised travel plan service detailing all travel options for your journey to work.
  • A travel planning advisor on hand to answer queries on walking, cycling and public transport routes;
  • On Foot By Bike leaflets to take away which illustrate the available walking and cycling routes throughout the City;
  • Information about becoming an Active Travel Champion with Sustrans
  • A free Dr Bike drop-in session, where bicycle users can have their bikes maintained by an experienced Bike Station mechanic (this will be outside).

Some of the cyclists amongst us will have received an invite to a coffee and cake morning from 10.30-11.30am in the same venue. This is to celebrate the huge effort put in by staff across KB in helping the University to come 1st in the Edinburgh Cycle Challenge:
