Following the University Commissioning Guidelines process, the artist Katie Paterson was to produce a new multisite artwork for KB.

Katie is widely regarded as one of the leading artists of her generation. Her works reference everything from the landscape, the universe to geological time. She is an ECA alumni and is an Honorary Fellow of the University of Edinburgh since 2013. She has developed an exceptional career and is a highly sought after artist; testament to this is that major exhibition of her work on display at National Galleries of Scotland until May 2020.

Katie will give an informal talk as an introduction to her artistic practice as well as share her plans for the KB100 artwork. This will also be a chance to hear how you can get involved.
