Making the most of your Postdoc
A workshop to help postdocs make proactive steps towards independence.
On 19 November 2018, we ran the workshop "Making the most of your Postdoc (strategies for independence)".
The workshop gave Roslin postdocs an opportunity to stop and reflect on their research career ambitions, think about their future, how to achieve their aims and make progress.
The workshop was aimed at postdocs who wished to develop their research careers towards either an independent fellowship or a permanent academic post. They had the opportunity to look at a variety of planning tools and strategies that will help them to make proactive steps towards independence.
The day was also the best opportunity to introduce them to the newly release "Postdoctoral Handbook" with useful information for new postdoc starts at the Institute.
