Grant writing course

Learning how to write grant applications.

On 22nd February, the Postdoctoral Committee of The Roslin Institute together with the Career Development Committee held a one-day Grant Writing Course particularly addressed to Postdoctoral Researchers and Early Career Researchers.

The course consisted of three hours of general training and coaching followed by a three-hour writing exercise where participants could begin writing a grant application.

The course has been provided by Andrew Derrington, a well-known consultant with several years of experience in helping academics to develop the skills and insights they needed to write better research grant applications.
