A dinner to celebrate our Athena SWAN Gold award.

On 24 April 2018, we held a celebratory dinner that recognised the achievement of The Roslin Institute in being the only academic department in Scotland to have achieved an Athena SWAN Gold award.
Speakers included Professor Melanie Welham - Chief Executive of the UK's Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), Professor Anne Glover - President of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and Special Adviser to the Principal/Vice-Chancellor of the University of Strathclyde, and Roslin's Professor Helen Sang, who led the application to the award. Guests included Members of the Scottish Parliament, from across regions and political spectrum, members of our Science Advisory Board, members of EQUATE Scotland and University of Edinburgh staff.
