Employ.ed on Campus

Opportunities for second, third or penultimate year Edinburgh undergraduates to work in the Institute during the summer vacation.

The Careers Service, in collaboration with a range of University of Edinburgh departments, offers a structured internship programme - Employ.ed on Campus - for 2nd, 3rd and penultimate year undergraduate students from the University of Edinburgh during the summer.

As well as great work experience, the Careers Service provides a programme of support, bringing participants together for an induction day, interim and end of placement event. We also offer a framework to support each intern’s employability development goals and self-reflection through the participation in an Edinburgh Award.

Within the Institute previous interns have worked on projects as diverse as photography archive, public engagement and virtual tours.

These posts will be advertised at the beginning of each year to eligible undergraduates.
