Virology
Viral diseases of economic and societal importance.

Our work focuses on viruses of poultry and livestock that pose major threats to food and economic security, as well as having zoonotic potential. An understanding of how viruses interact with the host cell during replication can be used to develop knowledge-driven strategies for genetic and/or vaccine-based control methods.
